This honey is a mixture of nectar from many different wild flowers growing in the mountains all around us. Each bottle is a unique masterpiece made from the nectar gathered by bees from the various flowers that surround our bee yards like tulip poplar, blackberry, basswood, black locust, clover, sourwood, and fruit trees.
Raw Wildflower Honey
Wildflower honey varies widely depending on the season and the nectar sources. We harvest in small batches from a wide range of bee yards, so the color and flavor is always changing though the spring wildflower tends to be dominated by tulip poplar and the summer often has a strong basswood influence.
